Representation
Located
in Ottawa, Canada, TianHeng Consulting Inc. provides Industry Canada (IC) Canadian Representative
services for clients requiring a Local Representative for IC Certification
(now ISED Certification). Our ISED Company Number is 11802A.
We
will provide a signed Letter of Attestation to our clients as part of their IC
submission package. After the IC certificate is granted we will work on behalf of our clients and ensure that the enquiries or
audit sample requests made by ISED Canada will be responded to in
accordance with the ISED Canada requirements in a timely and professional
manner.
The
ISED Canada requirements are outlined in RSP-100 Section 4.1 and DC-01 Section
3 as below.

4.1
Canadian Representative
A Canadian representative is required
when the applicant’s company address is not within Canada. The applicant
shall provide a signed Application and Agreement for Certification
Services (see
form A) in which the details of the company representative in Canada
shall be clearly identified.
The Canadian representative shall be responsible for responding to all
enquiries from ISED regarding the certified product(s), including
providing audit samples at no charge to ISED. The applicant shall have a
valid Application and Agreement for Certification Services for as long
as the certified product is offered on the Canadian market.

3. Required Canadian Representative
A Canadian representative is required when the company address of the applicant or declaring party is not within Canada. The applicant or declaring party must provide a signed Applicant-Canadian Representative Agreement and the details of the company representative in Canada shall be clearly identified in Annex A.
The Canadian representative shall be responsible for handling all enquiries from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada regarding the registered terminal equipment, including providing audit samples at no charge to the Department. The applicant must have a valid Applicant-Canadian Representative Agreement for as long as the terminal equipment registered with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is offered on the Canadian market.
